Closed or open technique — which is better for me?

How does the recovery timeline work — when can I fly home from Turkey?
The splint is removed on day 7 and you can return to normal social life. Noticeable swelling occurs in the first 2 weeks and mostly resolves within 4–6 weeks. Your public-facing profile becomes clear in 3–6 months, while the final shape of the tip emerges after about 12 months. You can typically fly home safely 7–10 days after your procedure in Istanbul.
