How does the DHI technique differ from FUE?
In FUE, there are two separate stages for follicle extraction and placement: first the channels are opened, then the follicles are placed. In DHI, thanks to the Choi implanter pen, channel opening and placement happen in a single step. This difference reduces the time the follicle waits outside and improves angle control.
What does the Choi (implanter) pen provide?
This special pen, with a diameter ranging from 0.5–1.5 mm, takes the follicle into its tip and places it directly into the skin. Bleeding is minimal, trauma to surrounding tissue is reduced, and each follicle can be placed at exactly the desired angle and depth.
