What's the difference between LASIK, No-Touch laser, and Smart Lens?
LASIK applies the laser after creating a flap on the cornea; it's a widely preferred option. No-Touch (Trans-PRK) reshapes the surface with no mechanical contact at all, and is the primary choice if the cornea is thinner or dry eye is present. Smart Lens (ICL) is a reversible lens placed inside the eye without touching the cornea; it suits patients with high prescriptions and a low corneal threshold.
Which eye treatment is right for me?
Answering this requires a detailed pre-examination: a refraction test, a corneal thickness map (topography), intraocular pressure, and a retinal assessment. These findings determine which method can be applied.
"Our goal is not a 'done' look, but a natural, balanced and lasting result that is truly yours."
Does my prescription have to be stable?
Ideally, there should be no change of half a diopter (0.50 D) or more in the last 12 months. In younger patients the prescription may not yet be stable; in that case, waiting another 1–2 years is recommended.
