How long does Botox take to work?
Botox smooths wrinkles by partially reducing muscle activity. The effect starts on days 3–5; the full effect is seen on days 10–14. During this time, slight asymmetry in facial expressions can be normal; booking an assessment appointment at week 2 is recommended.
How often should it be applied?
The average duration is 4–6 months, sometimes 6–8 months; it varies by individual metabolism and injection site. Regular application trains the muscles to "rest," and the effect can last longer in later sessions.
"Our goal is not a 'done' look, but a natural, balanced and lasting result that is truly yours."
Will I lose my facial expression — a frozen look?
With the right dose and technique, only the targeted muscles are slightly weakened; a natural, dynamic look that doesn't disrupt your expressions is preserved. A "frozen face" is the result of overdosing; it's something we work to prevent at our clinic.
